About Keith
Following graduation from Hampden-Sydney College, Keith's history with real estate began in 1993 when he entered the mortgage banking world with Central Fidelity Bank, now Wachovia, in his home town of Richmond, VA. He spent several years in various roles with Central Fidelity, until 1996 when he was recruited to work with a financial services information firm in Charlottesville where he served as a Managing Director of a consulting arm for the firm.
Keith took a hiatus from the banking world to work with several local start-up companies, as well as persue his M.B.A. at Kenan Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. His focus at UNC on Real Estate Development and Finance then led him back into real estate from the service and sales side.
Keith works daily with buyers and sellers of residential real estate. As a Charlottesville city resident, Keith tends to focus his work in the University Area, the City and urban ring, but also works with clients on rural properties and second homes throughout the counties that surround Charlottesville. Keith works on resale properties as well as new construction, and has represented developers in land aquisition, land sales, and new home sales. He is an active real estate investor and property manager, and knows first hand the benefits of real estate ownership.
As a seasoned business leader, Keith knows that selling a home is about more than listing a home, it is about positively positioning the property to accent its best attributes and attract the right buyer through precise, targeted, and professional marketing. By running technology based firms, Keith is also able to bring a strong background in novel marketing techniques that other agents do not employ.
